Muhurta

Muhurta is an auspicious moment that infuses the “birth” of a new venture with the most positive energy. It brings the inner and outer universes into alignment, in order to yield the best possible outcome.

If you are starting a new business, buying a property, moving, going on a trip, getting married – and other such important beginnings in life – I would always refer to Muhurta.

This is how we can directly influence our Karmas, starting to change them bit by bit, and is one of my absolutely favorite ways to incorporate Jyotish into our lives.

How this works:

First, we might want to refer to Prasna, to see if it is a good idea for you to take on the new venture that you have in mind. Once Prasna confirms that it is a good idea, then I start looking for the auspicious moment (Muhurta) for this to happen.

Before I start looking for any Muhurta – for example signing a contract, incorporating a business or taking a trip – I will need specific times (hours and days) that may not work for you.

For a wedding, or an event that includes more than one person, a Muhurta will be picked based on the combination of charts of people involved and will most likely take longer to find.
